Community Health Nursing

Provides nursing services to individuals, families, and community groups in order to promote health and well-being and decrease and/or prevent disease. A Guide to the requirements of the Idaho School Immunization Law for Grades K-12.

Head Lice

Provides information on what head lice is, how to prevent it, talking to your kids about head lice and treatment options.

HIV/AIDS

Comprehensive services are provided through the Southeastern District Health Department (SDHD). SDHD offers HIV testing, case management and resource services, as well as HIV/AIDS prevention programs.
This site contains HIV prevention messages that may not be appropriate for all ages.

Infant Toddler/Child Find

Provides health screening, assessment, tracking, and case management for all children from birth to age three.

Immunizations & Idaho Immunization Reminder Information System (IRIS)

  • What is IRIS? Idaho's Immunization Reminder Information System.
  • A statewide system to help you and your healthcare provider keep track of your family's immunization records.
  • Completely confidential and secure, your information can only be accessed by enrolled healthcare providers, schools or child care programs.
  • Enrollment in IRIS is completely voluntary.

Prenatal Ancillary Care (PAC)

Provides prenatal health and nutrition education to pregnant women.

Reproductive Health (Family Planning)

Provides individuals with information and resources to exercise personal choice in determining the time, number, and spacing of their children.

Women’s Health Check (WHC)

Provides breast cancer and cervical screenings for women that are low income or have no insurance.

Women, Infants, & Children (WIC)

A supplemental food and nutrition education program for pregnant, postpartum, and breast feeding women, in addition to infants and children under five years of age.
